Modern control systems (usually Heidenhain) provide very comfortable manipulation of the machine and many useful functions for the user. On a regular basis,
Horizontal Boring Mill WRFT 130 offers 6 axis travel (X, Y, Z, V, W AND B). It is possible to increasse number of controlled axis according to optional accessories.
During the metal processing, the column of the machine adopts Z-axis movement and the workpieces are clamp on a rotary table that travels in X-axis.
Machine Design Machine WRFT 130 is designed with a cross-ribbed column. The machine's bed (X-axis) features X-braced ductile iron construction and heavy duty Schneeberger roller linear guideways. Ram is fabricated from cast steel and adds rigidity for extended W-axis machining operations. FEM (Finite Element Method) has been applied on the whole machine design. Achieved rigidty allows heavy metal removal.
Modular design lets our customers configure the machines to their requirements, including X-travel from 2400 to 6100 mm, Y-axis travel or variety of headstocks.
Other features such as standard linear scales Heidenhain, spindle themal monitoring system and automatic slide ram deflection system contribute to the degree of accuracy.
Headstock WRFT 130 is equipped with a standard boring mill live spindle. The headstock provides adjustable mounting platform for a variety of attachments such as CNC angle heads, manual angle heads, support spindle sleeves, etc.
Headstock is driven by servo drive (SIEMENS). Two speed automatic gearbox gives enough torque for heavy metal chip removal and powerful high-speed drilling.
Machines are also capable of high performance manufacturing due to spindle axial force 25,000 N.

Rotary Table Rotary table consists of three main parts - bed, slides and table clamping plate; all of them are made from robust cross-ribbed casting. The clamping plate is mounted on a roller bearing alowing high load capacity up to 25000 kg and minimal passive resistances.
Movement to the table is provided by two pinions. Each of them has an own servomotor with a planet gearbox.
