Tos cylindrical grinding of dia. 630 mm and 4 mtrs between center retrofitted after reconditioning with Siemens 802 D for M/s Tata Steels Ltd, Jamshedpur. The machine bed was cracked and this was rectified by special welding technique after heating the entire body to avoid distortion.The guide ways of the bed which is 10 mtrs long single piece casting was scraped and aligned with 0.015 mm. The machine was calibrated after retrofitting by our Laser interferometer.
